Smart Growth in Snoqualmie
The City of Snoqualmie's Comprehensive Plan - "Snoqualmie 2032" - embraces many Smart Growth principles as they apply to our community. The City supports a pattern of resource use that meets human needs, while preserving the environment for present and future generations.
"A vibrant, local economy is essential to Snoqualmie's long-term community vitality and fiscal health... Value should always be considered in terms of both financial and qualitative returns, including opportunities for business growth, added jobs and increased City revenues, along with qualitative assets such as a healthy and attractive environment, a sense of safety, and local cultural amenities." (Comprehensive Plan, Economic Development Section 1-9)
